Run under PCAQ rules with approved helmet and boots to be worn.  

Canteen will be available throughout the day.

Terms & Conditions

 

1.     Nomination for this event confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions and any other SAQ guidelines that are applicable for this event (ie Horse Welfare policy etc) – see SAQ website for full copy of rules.

2.     Competitors disobeying these rules may be disqualified from this event without refund of nominations.

3.     No refunds after closing date, except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $10.00 will be deducted.

4.     The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.

5.     Neither the organising committee of this event nor the SAQ accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

6.     Protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of an incident occurring and a $100 fee will apply. The fee will only be refunded if the protest is upheld.

7.     All junior participants (under 18 years) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the entire event.

8.     Complying helmets and boots must be worn. Strictly no helmet/no ride policy at this event – no exceptions.

9.     Stallions are permitted, but must be bitted or chained at any time.  Display of EA Stallion disks is encouraged.  Stallions are to be supervised/ridden by persons 18yo or over only.

10.  Hendra vaccinations not compulsory for this event.

11.  All horses must present for this competition drug free.

12.  Horse must be over 4yo to compete in Show Jumping competitions.

13.  Dress Code: collared shirt with sleeves; polo shirts acceptable with approved helmet and boots to be worn.  

14.  Classes will be conducted under PCAQ Rules, in conjunction with the rules and conditions stated herein.

15.  Completed Liability Forms and Horse Health Declarations forms must be submitted by all participants upon arrival at the event.

16.  A rider may enter more than one horse, however, classes will not be held up and officials will not be asked to hold horses.

17.  Rider may ride more than one horse however, horse can only be ridden in one height level.

18.  Horse may compete in one height level of show jumping only.

19.  Gear check is required by all riders before riding. Rider must have their gear checked 20 mins prior to their class. Failure to present on time for gear check may result in disqualification without refund of nominations.

20.  Event Draw will be published on the SAQ Website prior to the event www.saq.com.au.  Please allow at least 30 mins before your draw time to complete paperwork and attend gear check.

 

Additional Rules which apply for 2017 Standardbred State Championships

 

21.  The 2017 Standardbred State Show Jumping Championship is open to all Purebred Standardbreds

22.  To be eligible for the 2017 SAQ Standardbred State Show Jumping Championships, the additional fee must be paid at the time of nominating ($10 members/ 15 Non-members). Horses will compete in the Open competition and scores from eligible Standardbreds will then be extracted from the open competition points database to obtain placing’s for 2017 Standardbred State Show Jumping Championships. Additional rounds will not be required. Competitors in the 2017 State Show Jumping Championships will be eligible for all awards and placing’s in both Open and State sections of this Competition.

23.  AM3 round score will be used to award State Champion/Reserve Champion Combined Training Award. To contest this award, participants must have also competed in designated Dressage Test at our Dressage State Championships on 22nd April, 2017. These awards will be presented at the State Show Jumping Championships.

24.  You must nominate for the 2017 Standardbred State Show Jumping Championships by close of nominations, 11th June 2017.

25.  All points accumulated from Standardbreds in the 2017 Standardbred State Show Jumping Championships competition will be used to obtain Overall State Champion Top 5 Exhibit and Exhibitors by combining all points awarded for all three 2017 SAQ State Level Competitions – Show Jumping, Dressage and Led/Ridden/Harness.
